Bio | Loma was born to Fred and Daisy Moulton. Loma grew up in Pasadena and showed her athletic prowess early and by ten years of age she was winning tennis tournaments. In later years she mastered the sport of Badminton. She and her late husband, Hulet Smith were active in the Pasadena Badminton Club where they met and married in 1941. Both earned a place in the badminton Hall of Fame. Loma won four national badminton tournaments and received the Helms Award in 1966. |
