Bio | Bohli won the boys' doubles at US Open in 2001 partnered with Tomas Berdych. Next year he started his professional career. In his career, he won three singles titles on the Challenger Tour and was once in the ATP Tour tournament men's doubles final in in 2008 in Gstaad where he lost on the side of Stanislas Wawrinka against Jaroslav Levinský and Filip Polasek. In Grand Slam tournaments he succeeded only in 2008, coming from the qualification at the US Open, however he had to retire in the opening round against Jiří Vaněk. In 2007 and 2008, he was selected for four meetings in the Swiss Davis Cup team. A total of six times he came in singles and won four of these matches. In October 2013, at the Challenger tournament in Geneva, he played his last game in which he defeated the Dutchman Thiemo de Bakker in four sets. Due to repeated injury problems, Bohli announced his retirement from active competitive sports on February 3, 2014 and became a coach at the Swiss Tennis Center Biel. |
