Bio | He is an Italian retired professional tennis player who won a bronze medals at the 1967 Mediterranean Games and represented Italy in the Davis Cup in 1967 and 1969. He completed his first tennis enterprise in 1962, winning the Italian third category tennis championship. In 1964 he was in the junior national team and, from 1965 to 1970, he defended the Italian colors as a Davis Cup player. After leaving the agonistic activity, he becomes a non-player captain of the Italian national team of Coppa Davis, at the time of Panatta, Bertolucci, Barazzutti and Zugarelli. At the beginning of the 2000s he returned to his hometown, Ivrea, and from 2004 he dedicated himself to the organizational management of the club and the event "The witness to witnesses", created together with his friend Don Luigi Ciotti. |
