Bio He is a former tennis player from Nigeria, who represented his native country at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, where he was defeated in the second round by the Netherlands' wild card entry Michiel Schapers. The right-hander reached his highest singles ATP-ranking on October 19, 1987, when he became the number 105 of the world. His son Michael Mmoh is also a tennis player.

Mmoh won the Nigerian high school singles championship three times between 1975 and 1977. He attended St. Augustine College in Florida and was twice selected as a top pick All-American. A three-time CIAA singles champion, he led the Falcons to two CIAA team championships. The Falcons appeared in the national rankings and were serious NAIA and NCAA Division II contenders.
His best year was 1980 when he led the underdog Falcons to the NAIA District 26 team title. Mmoh entered the NAIA National Tournament as the top-seeded singles player and teamed with Bullus Hussaini to take the NAIA national doubles crown. The following year, Mmoh earned the top singles seed once again in the NAIA Nationals. Mmoh lost only twice in singles his final two seasons. He reached the 1980 NAIA national finals and the 1981 NAIA national semifinals.
He graduated from Saint Augustine's in 1982.
He is the only Falcon to play in Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, the Australian Open and the Olympics.

In 1985 he was a quarterfinalist in the Lagos, Thessaloniki and Helsinki Challenger tournaments. The following year he was in the finals of the Challenger tournaments in Enugu and Benin City and was in the doubles semi -finals in Nagoya and Lagos.

In 1987 he reached the semifinals of the ATP tournament in Schenectady, the best individual result of his career, losing to eventual winner Jaime Yzaga. He also won the Munich Challenger tournament with Roger Smith. In 1988 he won the doubles title at the Rio de Janeiro Challenger tournament alongside Bruce Derlin.

He reached his highest ranking in the world tennis rankings in 1987 with position 105 in singles and doubles.

His best singles results in a Grand Slam tournament were second-round appearances at the Australian Open and the US Open. His best result in the doubles competition was the round of 16 participation at the Australian Open in 1987.

Mmoh played 14 singles and seven doubles matches for the Nigerian Davis Cup team between 1986 and 1988. During this period, Nigeria never managed to qualify for the world group. In 1988 Nigeria faced Austria in the European group, losing 0-5 to Mmoh in both his singles against Thomas Muster and doubles alongside Nduka Odizor. At the 1988 Summer Olympics, he represented Nigeria in singles and doubles. In singles he lost in the second round to Michiel Schapers, in doubles he lost with Nduka Odizor in the first round against the French Guy Forget and Henri Leconte the end.
