Bio | He is a former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic. Among the best result of his youth career were when he became champion of Czechoslovakia in singles and in doubles in 1991. He won the winner of Pardubice junior tournament in 1996. He was an European championship finalist under 18 years and winner of European Championship in doubles. Kralert had a good year as a junior in 1996, when he won the Banana Bowl; was a doubles champion at the Orange Bowl, partnering countryman Robin Vik; and bagelled Roger Federer when he beat the future World No. 1 in the Sunshine Cup. Besided Federer, he defeated Safin and Ljubicic. He reached as high as No. 19 in the junior world singles rankings (and No. 16 in doubles). On the ATP ranking, he was 138th in singles, in his career he won four singles titles at the ATP challenger and the Futures circuit. He was the winner of the extra-league of adults with teams Sparta Praha and I. ČLTK Praha. In 1999, he made an appearance for the Czech Republic Davis Cup team, in a World Group play-off tie against Uzbekistan. He defeated Oleg Ogorodov in the fourth rubber, to help the Czechs secure a clean sweep. Kralert qualified for his only Grand Slam tournament in 2000, at the US Open. He had a win over Spain's David Sanchez in the first round, then lost in the second round to Agustín Calleri. At his coaching activity in 2007 he worked as personal trainer of Iva Minář (99 ATP Ranking), as well as he was the junior coach of Sparta Prague between 2008 - 2010. Plus, he was the personal trainer of Klára Zakopalová (No. 27 at WTA) between 2010 - 2013. He was in a cooperation with Lukáš Dlouhý (winner of Roland Garros and US Open doubles). |
