Bio | He played for the club UTE, forming a pair with Pal Aschner, they were considered among the best. He played his only singles match at a Grand Slam level in 1929 at Wimbledon. In 1933, he was a member of the UTE team that won the team championship. His brother Ferenc was also a tennis player. He was recruited in Nagykata on March 30, 1942 and he disappeared and likely died as a laborer in the Don bend in 1943 (probably between February 1-15). |
