Bio | He is a German former tennis player who was active between 1996 and 2006. He reached two singles finals in ATP tournaments, both in 2000. Hantschk played from 1995 on satellite tournaments, where he won his first world ranking points. In 1997, he played in six of the nine held in Germany ATP Challenger tournaments, his best result was reaching the quarter-finals in Weiden, Eisenach and Neumünster, in the latter he stood with Lars Burgsmüller in the double final. In 1999 he won his first Challenger title in Magdeburg. The following year he was twice in the final of an ATP tournament, but lost in both. His highest single entry on the tennis world ranking was No. 71 in 2000. Hantschk was twice German Champion in Men's Singles, 1998 and 2002. |
