Bio | He was enlisted in 1900 in Troop 2, Squadron A Cavalry, NYNG, at the Madison Avenue Armory, New York City. He was later transferred to Troop 1. On March 4, 1901, Squadron A took part in the inauguration of President McKinley and as personal escort of Vice President T. Roosevelt. On February 12-25, escort to Prince Henry of Germany Between April 27 - May 3, 1903, the Squadron took part in the Louisiana Purchase Exhibition ceremonies, St. Louis, Missouri. He was discharged from Squadron A in 1905. He was laid to rest at the Evergreens Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York. |
