Bio | "Peacefully into the hands of the Lord on March 20th, 2009 in Richmond, B.C. Born on July 29, 1925 in Montreal. Predeceased by parents, James and Margaret, sisters Maureen and Patricia, brother Gerald, grandson Tyler. Survived by wife of 54 years, Maureen, children, Gerald (Leslie), Kathy (John), Chris (Teri), Patrick (Caroline), Tony (Iris), 15 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, brother Brendan (Libby) and nieces and nephews. Passed onto family the importance of faith, honour, integrity, sportsmanship and love of others. Prominent in tennis and squash in Canada, a Davis Cup team member, Canadian Open National Doubles Champion, NCAA team champion for William and Mary College in Virginia, president of Tennis Canada and Tennis B.C. Inducted into Pacific Northwest and William and Mary Halls of Fame. Received the Centennial Award for service to Canada.
