Bio | He was a French tennis player. He participated in 15 consecutive Roland-Garros tournaments from 1934 to 1939 and from 1946 to 1954. Jamain reached the 1/8 finals in the men's singles in 1946; he lost to Yvon Petra, winner of Wimbledon championships that year. He participated in the Wimbledon tournament in 1936 and 1937, his best result was a 1/16 in 1936. Jamain participated in the Monte-Carlo and Cannes tournaments and played in Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands. He was a coach at VGA Saint Maur in the 1950s. |
