Bio | He was the son of William H. and Minnie (Chadwick) King. He reached the peak of his tennis playing in 1926, when he ranked No.10 in singles and when he won the clay court doubles championship with Francis T. Hunter. He had served as assistant attending physician at Presbyterian Hospital and as Chief of the Vanderbilt Clinic. He maintained offices with his father, Dr. William Harvey King. He died in the Presbyterian Hospital, New York City, after an illness of six weeks. Following an operation for a kidney disorder several weeks ago, he had been sinking rapidly. |
