Bio	Frederick De Saram was a Proctor in Ceylon. His brother E.R. De Saram also played tennis and became the first Ceylonese to win a national singles title in 1919. In 1913, Fred and E. R. de Saram became the first Ceylonese to win a national title at a time the British dominated the sport. He married Myra Loos.
