Bio | He is a British tennis player. Harris won the ATP Challenger doubles title at the 2022 Winnipeg National Bank Challenger with Kelsey Stevenson. He reached his first singles Challenger final at the inaugural edition of the 2023 Challenger Club Els Gorchs in Las Franquesas del Valles, Spain as a qualifier where he lost to second seed Hugo Grenier. He made his ATP debut at the 2023 Sofia Open where as a qualifier he reached the main draw and defeated defending champion Marc-Andrea Huesler in the first round. Ranked No. 162, he received a wildcard for the main draw at the 2024 Queen's Club Championships and reached his first ATP career quarterfinal. En route, he defeated Tomás Martín Etcheverry and qualifier Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in the second round, for his second and third wins at the ATP tour level. As a result he reached the top 150 in the rankings on 24 June 2024. His good form continued at the next grass court tournament, the 2024 Eastbourne International where ranked No. 139, he defeated compatriot and fellow wildcard Jacob Fearnley in the first round and another compatriot, lucky loser Charles Broom in the second to reach back-to-back quarterfinals. He reached his first ATP career semifinal with a win over Flavio Cobolli in three sets. He then lost to Max Purcell in a tight three-set match. As a result, he reached the Top 125 in the rankings. For his Grand Slam debut, he received a wildcard for the 2024 Wimbledon Championships. |
