Bio Alejandro Falla Ramirez is a professional male tennis player from Colombia. The left-hander turned pro in 2000 and achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 48 in July 2012. At the 2006 Wimbledon tournament, Falla upset 9th seed Nikolay Davydenko and at the 2007 Sony Ericsson Open he beat 9th seed Tommy Haas in straight sets. He reached the semi finals of the Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon in 2007, beating players such as the 5th seed Ivan Ljubičić.

He is began playing tennis at age six coached by his father. Mother, Elsa, is a housewife while his sister Kelly played at Florida Gulf Coast under a tennis scholarship and is now a graduated in accounting. Brother Sebastian trains at Sanchez-Casal Academy and plays junior events in Florida.

He does likes soccer and supports the Atletico Nacional team in Colombia.
His favourite hobby is golf, favourite music is salsa, rock (especially U2). Finished high school in Cali in 2001. (Los Angeles de San Fernando)
