Bio	Married Lawrence “Lawrie” Franklin Strong on 22 September 1962 in Saint Michael’s Church, Saint Alban’s, Hertfordshire Active 1960s. Laurie and Vivienne honeymooned in Canada in 1962. It must have made some impression, as they moved there. In 1968 the husband-wife pair won the Canadian mixed doubles title. When they moved to Canada, he became immediately immersed into tennis. As a player, he won several Ontario doubles titles in both men’s and mixed events.
