| Bio | She is a Czech former tennis player. Záhlavová won 12 singles and nine doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit in her career. On June 21, 2010, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 78. On June 12, 2006, she peaked at No. 165 in the doubles rankings. Her greatest successes on the WTA Tour in 2010 she celebrated with the entry into the quarterfinal of the three international category tournaments: in Bogotá (two-set defeat to the top seed Gisela Dulko), 's-Hertogenbosch (two-set defeat to Andrea Petković) and Bad Gastein (two-set defeat to Timea Bacsinszky). Her best performance in a Grand Slam tournament, she scored in 2010, when she reached the second round at the Australian Open, where she defeated Marion Bartoli. In 2011 she was there again in round two. In doubles Záhlavová recorded nine ITF titles. From November 2012 she has not started in the doubles. A year later she had her last appearance on a ladies' tour at an ITF tournament in Poland. |
