| Bio | She is a Swedish professional tennis player. She also has a best doubles ranking of world No. 281, achieved on 31 January 2022. Björklund has won one doubles WTA Challenger title as well as ten singles titles and two doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. Björklund made her WTA Tour main-draw debut at the 2017 Swedish Open, where she played Kateryna Kozlova in the first round. At the 2022 French Open she qualified to make her major debut, where she was drawn to face fellow qualifier Donna Vekić.[1][2] She qualified for her second major in a row at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships. She faced world No. 2,Ons Jabeur,in the first round.[3] She qualified for her first WTA 1000 tournament at the 2023 Miami Open, as an unseeded player in the qualifying draw deafeating two seeded players in a row. She was drawn to face Italian world No. 71 Jasmine Paolini in the first round and defeated her, after dropping the first set. She was defeated by world No. 22 and 2017 French Open champion, Jeļena Ostapenko, in the second round. |
