Bio | She has won a total of 14 Swedish Championship titles, of which 3 in singles. She was noticed when she beat Ingrid Bentzer in the SM final singles tournament in Uppsala in 1977. Bentzer was the only really big international professional at the time and in Dagens nyheter ( Today's news) the win was categorized as a "bang". She won 6-0, 6-2 after just 55 minutes of play. Internationally, she qualified as a single for the second round of the French Open, 1975. She has also represented Sweden in the Fed cup. She represented the club SALK where she also became "Salker of the Year", due to successful efforts in national or international tennis. |
