Bio She is a former professional tennis player from Czechoslovakia.
She won the ČSSR Youth Singles Championship in 1976 and became Budvar's champion of the Czech Socialist Republic in doubles. In 1977, she triumphed together with Brzáková at the ČSSR Adult Women's Doubles Championship. In 1980, she made her way to the final of the doubles at the European Amateur Championship and won prizes at tournaments in Galanta and Taranto. In the 1981 season she saw a semifinal attendance at the Avon Futures event in Las Vegas and won the CSR championship in women's singles.
She won the women's doubles at 1984 Virginia Slims of Pennsylvania. On the WTA ranking, she was ranked 196th in the highest ranked singles in November 1987 and 157th in the doubles in December 1986.
At the Grand Slam she made her way to the women's doubles quarterfinals at the French Open 1985.
After her marriage with Czech basketball player Zdeněk Böhm she became known as Kateřina Böhmová-Skronská.

She is the mother of former pro tennis player Kateřina Bohmova Klapkova.
