Bio | Ingrid Bentzer beetwen 1973-75 was ranked as Sweden-one. She won the tennis career 4 Championship titles indoors (1971, 1973, 1974, 1976). Among the merits are also 7 Title in double and 7 in mixed doubles. She won five singles titles as a professional player (the German Championships, the Scandinavian championship, Monte Carlo, Nice Open and the Swedish indoors). During her career, she defeated in various tournaments superstars among others Evonne Goolagong Cawley and Francoise Durr. She reached that best fourth round of Wimbledon. Ingrid Bentzer participated in the Swedish Fed Cup team 1966-68, 1970, 1973, 1975-77. She played a total of 31 games of which she won 15. Thirteen of the matches were in the double, of these, she won 6. Among the double winners include it in the encounter against Japan in 1973. Together with Christina Sandberg, she defeated then the Japanese pair Kayoko Fukuoka / Kazuko Sawamatsu (6-4, 3-6, 6-0). The same year met the Swedish team a team from Romania.
