Bio She was a 1928 graduate of Morris High School, Bronx, New York. She and David W. Gray were married on September 3, 1933. Mrs Gray received both her Associate's degree (1947) and her Baccalaureate degree in English Literature (1956) from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. Having lived in many different parts of the world because of General Gray's military postings, she was an avid traveller and interested in different peoples and cultures. She was an accomplished tennis player and participated at Wimbledon in the 1940s attaining second place in the women's singles category. She also enjoyed refurbishing older homes, flower gardening, and reading. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs Gray was preceded in death by her sisters Grace and Helen, a brother Alfred Campbell, and sisters-in-law, Miriam Gray White, and Ruth Gray Yates.
