Bio He was part of the emerging team of Four Musketeers during the Davis Cup in 1922.
He married on January 19, 1929 in Paris with Monique Boissière, daughter of an industrialist and a large real estate owner.

He was selected in the French Davis Cup Team in 1922 and 1924. He won two singles victories against the Irish team, alongside René Lacoste and Jacques Brugnon. He had one defeat in singles against the team of Denmark, where Henri Cochet and Jean Borotra were his teammates.

In 1921, he reached the second round of the World Clay Championship at Saint-Cloud as part of the World Tennis Championships, losing to Arthur Wallis Myers (7-5, 6-1, 6-1). At the same championships, he won the doubles title with Henri Cochet. In 1923, he reached the quarter-finals of the World Indoor Championships in Barcelona as part of the World Tennis Championships, and lost to Nicolae Misu (2-6, 6-2, 6-1, 6-0 ) He participated in the French Championship in 1924, where he was beaten in the second round by René Lacoste (6-2, 6-2, 6-2). In 1925, he lost in the final at Aix-les-Bains against Henri Cochet (6-1, 6-2, 13-11) and in 1926 he won the title this time against Roger George (6-2, 6-0, 6-2).

He participated at the French Open in 1930, where he lost by forfeit the third round (1/16 finals) against Henri Cochet.
