Biography

His father was Harry Abrams, his mother was Ethel Shapiro.
He was a star player from DeWitt Clinton High School.
He won the national boys indoor championship in doubles paired with J.M. Greudenheim in January, 1931.
In 1933, he was the No.1. player in junior singles of the East coast.
He was an alumnus of the Mohawk School and Tulane University where he played tennis and basketball.
He played at New York State clay court tennis championship at the Seminole Club.
